Max joined HJP in 2024 and offers a holistic approach to financial advice. Whether it’s investment strategies, protection and insurance, or guiding businesses through their financial planning. 

His career has been anything but conventional. From managing large-scale capital projects for iconic brands like Asahi Breweries, Kirin, and Carlton United Breweries in the Asia Pacific, to launching his own craft brewery, Max works best when balancing business and innovation. His experience has also provided a unique perspective, as he understands what it’s like to navigate both the boardroom and a start-up business. 

Max’s entrepreneurial ventures have seen him explore diverse industries. He’s launched businesses in craft brewing, mindfulness and meditation, natural supplements, and coaching, including his role as a Wim Hof ice bath instructor. These experiences have given him a deep understanding of the challenges faced by small businesses, especially when it comes to navigating growth, financial security, and long-term planning. Max approaches every challenge with the mindset that the right preparation can help you navigate any of life’s uncertainties. 

Outside of work, Max’s adventurous spirit is ever-present. From being an avid surfer and extreme mountain biker to taking daily ice baths as part of his Wim Hof practice, Max believes that life—like financial planning—requires resilience, preparation, and a bit of daring.
